Frequently Asked Questions
Check both the usable drip-tray area and the clearance below your portafilter spouts. You need enough space for the scale and your cup together. Contact us for the scale’s dimensions before ordering if your machine has a narrow tray or limited cup clearance.
No. The listed fine-weighing range is 0.3–999.9g with 0.1g increments. The 1g mode covers 1–2000g. Use the finer setting for coffee doses and espresso yield. Display increments describe resolution, not a guarantee of measurement accuracy under every condition.
Place your empty cup on the scale and zero the reading before brewing. The added weight then represents the espresso collected in the cup. Keep the cup fully supported by the scale and clear of nearby machine parts.
Yes. The built-in timer lets you monitor brewing time alongside weight. Use the same timing convention for each recipe—for example, starting when you activate the pump—so your results remain comparable. Avoid comparing that time directly with recipes timed from the first drip.
The scale has a rechargeable battery and a Type-C charging port specified for DC 5V input. Use a compatible cable and 5V USB power source. Keep the charging port dry. Battery runtime varies with usage, so charge as needed rather than relying on a fixed number of shots.
Do not rinse or submerge the scale. Turn it off, disconnect the charging cable, and wipe the surface with a soft, lightly damp cloth. Keep water out of the charging port and housing openings, and dry any spills promptly.
Machine vibration or an uneven tray can affect readings. Check that the scale rests securely and that the cup touches only the weighing platform. To troubleshoot, test the same object on a steady countertop with the machine switched off. If readings remain unstable, contact us.
Yes. The weighing function and timer can also support pour-over brewing. Make sure your brewing vessel sits securely on the compact platform. Keep the combined weight of the vessel, dripper, coffee, and water within the selected mode’s weighing range.
